Blog Cards 2 Column

Thanks for visiting my site. I have recently decided to rebuild the websites I created and maintained for quite some time. The first rebuild was Claystation.com. That site has been updated with a more modern look and the latest tech which makes it run more smoothly. There is still much work to do on it to get all the content back up on it.
Next is this site. My andyclift.com site used to run on Tumblr, now, I moved it to WordPress like the rest of my websites. The old site was more or less a blog with some of my portfolio on it. Now, this site will be updated with an extensive creative portfolio of all the important creative projects, that I have worked on during my adult life. It will be challenging and in many ways, it might be like writing an autobiography.
In some areas of this site, you will see that it is a work in progress. This update will take some time so please be patient. I am mainly focused on getting my Ceramics portfolio on here, and will try to get much of that up before the end of 2022.
Check back soon to see the progress.

Mom and brother checking out the view at Franklin before Mathias”s match. Lincoln ended up winning 2-0 while down one man for the majority of the match.

Pool party at the neighbors, and a soccer game afterwards at Lil’ Clift Field, again and again and again over the last 24 hours.!Not a bad way to end summer for a kid.

Congratulations Mathias on making the Lincoln Cardinals Mens Varsity Soccer team. All you hard work, dedication, and success this summer has been a pleasure to watch. Let’s Go! Photos by Jon Rhodes. Mathias #20

Mathias’s first College ID camp at Oregon State University was a success. It was a great learning experience and the feedback he received will be sure to boost his confidence even more, as he goes into the high school season. #oregonstateuniversity

After an early summer trip to see family the boys are back at it, playing in their first tournament of the summer. They both did well! Here are some pics of Noah playing hard and enjoying some of their success.

Such fun watching Noah playing ODP with the Portland Timbers Academy this weekend.

What an amazing year for these boys, Thank You coach James. FC Portland Navy 06 2022 State Cup Semi Finalists @fcportland06

Here’s what it looks like today in the backyard, hail and thunder. Oh wait, it has now turned into snowflakes.
We live on a hill called Sylvan Hill, it bore the brunt of the snow storm yesterday, the area has had the most tree damage I have ever seen up here and there have been very bad storms since living here. We lost three trees and many tree limbs that I am not to terribly concerned about. Many neighbors did not fare as well, there are shredded trees all over the roads, on top of roofs, and in everyone yards. The Portland Arboretum is nearby, I hope they fared okay.
There is more snow forecast tonight, although I am thinking the damage has already been done. It’s just hard to get stuff cleaned up when there is still all this snow, not to mention it’s been raining in between the hail and snow flakes.
